摘要: The availability of new and improved techniques in fluorescence histochemistry (particularly immunohistochemistry), electron microscopy, electrophysiology pharmacology since the 1960s has led to a wealth discoveries that have profoundly reshaped our understanding autonomic nervous system. There also been dramatic rise number putative neurotransmitter substances, which show marked overlap their localization function. These findings add concepts further complexity neuroeffector mechanisms demand reappraisal definitions for subclassing these neurohumoral agents into neurotransmitters; neuromodulators trophic factors.
