摘要: A mixed-mode chromatography coupled with charged aerosol detector (CAD) method was developed in this work to simultaneously determine pharmaceutical counterions including both inorganic ions and organic the forms of cations anions. 25 commonly used were studied separated within 20 min by single method. silica based column reversed-phase/cation-exchange/anion-exchange modes used. It provides reversed-phase, strong cation-exchange weak anion-exchange properties at same time. also HILIC behavior high percentage solvent. The effects mobile-phase strength, buffer ions, ionic pH temperature have been investigated optimize as well understand retention separation mechanisms. Conventional HPLC system no special is needed. presented has employed successfully for screening quantitative analysis counterions, unknown impurities salts active ingredients process control samples excellent accuracy, precision sensitivity. This a simple, fast generic approach speed up research development enhance lab efficiency. similar methodologies can be applied other ion analysis.
