摘要: In this paper we investigate the chameleon effect in different conformal frames of Brans-Dicke (BD) theory. Given that, standard literature on subject, is described Einstein frame almost exclusively, here pay special attention to description Jordan and string frames. It shown general, terrestrial solar system bounds mass BD scalar field, cosmological origin, are difficult reconcile at once through a single potential. We point out context, provided that effective potential has minimum within region constant density matter, theory transmutes into general relativity with constant, region. This result, however, can be only locally valid.
