摘要: Nowadays, the bandwidth demand of telecommunication network is growing rapidly due to increasing number technology-intelligent users. Optical broadband access networks have emerged address two issues: (1) channel capacity sharing fairly customers, and (2) adequate assignment according service requirements. The wavelength division multiplexing passive optical (WDM PON) a promising solution provide high data rate, excellent scalability, good protocol transparency easy upgradability. In this paper, cost-effective bidirectional WDM PON proposed symmetrical 2.5 Gb/s by using just single laser diode (LD) at central office (CO). frequency upconversion (OFU) technique used implement network. At unit (ONU), reflective semiconductor amplifier (RSOA) reuses amplifies downlink modulate upstream data. bit error rate (BER) performance eye diagrams designed system are investigated.
