摘要: Abstract Eu3+/Ho3+/Yb3+ tri-doped Na5Y9F32 single crystals were synthesized by a Bridgman method. The up-conversion emissions centered at 544 and 658 nm, corresponding to the 5F4/5S2→5I8 5F5→5I8 transitions, observed under excitation of 980 nm LD. effects Eu3+ ion on emission investigated. green 544 nm initially increased then decreased as concentration increasing from 0 2.1 mol%. intensity reached maximum when doped was ∼0.6 mol%. energy transfer mechanism analysis suggests that cross-relaxation process between Ho3+ ions responsible for change UC emission. Furthermore, its external quantum efficiency (EQE) approached 1.3% is obtained Na5Y9F32: 0.6 mol %Eu3+/0.6 mol% Ho3+/3 mol% Yb3+ 1 W/cm2 which can be applied in related optical devices. nearly quadratic dependence pump power 544, 589, 610 658 nm indicates one visible photon generated with absorption two NIR photons.
