摘要: Abstract A statistical physics study of punctuation effects on sentence lengths is presented for written texts: Alice in wonderland and Through a looking glass. The translation the first text into esperanto also considered as test role defining style, contrasting natural artificial, but written, languages. Several log–log plots sentence-length–rank relationship are major marks. Different power laws observed with characteristic exponents. exponent can take value much less than unity ( c . 0.50 or 0.30) depending how defined. texts mapped time series based word frequencies. quantitative differences between original translated very minutes, at level. It argued that sentences seem to be more reliable distributions discussing an author style.
