摘要: Abstract Twelve kinds of polydimethylsiloxane grafted with polyethyleneoxide (PDMS-g-PEO) were synthesized by two-step reactions: the preparation silicone backbone containing methyl-hydrogen siloxane units and following hydrosilylation reactions PEO allyl groups. When effects structure PDMS-g-PEO on surface properties investigated comparing each effect caused EO content, chain length or size hydrophobe, hydrophobe was found to be a critical factor for deciding tension rather than content EO. Significant decrease in contact angle aqueous solution observed when surfactant concentration increased. On other hand, viscosity at constant slightly increased as increased, but difference not significant. Dynamic measurement showed an increase concentration. In addition, much longer times required reach equilibrium compared conventional nonionic ionic surfactants due lower mobility high molecular weight.
