摘要: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is characterized by a constellation of clinical symptoms that include irregular menses due to chronic oligo-ovulation, phenotypic features hyperandrogenism, and obesity. The term “polycystic ovary” refers ovarian morphology with increased stroma ring cortical follicles. Core biochemical hyperandrogenism insulin resistance. pathogenesis PCOS remains topic debate. Treatment typically focuses on mitigating the impact resistance, oligo-ovulation restoring fertility when desired.
