Affleurements des roches profondes de la croûte océanique et du manteau sur le mur sud de la fracture Kane (Atlantique central) : observations par submersible

摘要: Lors de la recente campagne Kanaut du Nautile (novembre-decembre 1992), 20 plongees ont eu pour objectif I’etude mur sud Zone fracture Kane, depuis son intersection orientale avec dorsale medio-Atlantique jusqu’h environ 80 km celle-ci. Les realisees SUT quatre massifs successifs bordant vallee transformante, permettent d’observer des sections comprenant pendotites, gabbros et basaltes, mis 21 l’affleurement B faveur d’accidents normaux decrochants d’un leger basculement. coupes observees ne montrent pas complexe filonien epais, comme celui observe le long ZF Vema par exemple. L’ensemble ces series est fortement cataclase metamorphise dans facies schites verts.
