摘要: Low-grade, diffuse gliomas comprise a heterogeneous group of tumors that display different phenotypes, genetic alterations, and clinical features. Important advances made over the past decade have significantly contributed to clarifying cellular origin these tumors. The identification new markers for cells derived from neural lineage combined with detailed characterization stem cell progenitor populations reside in adult brain has fueled development original approaches identify type which are derived. In this chapter, we will summarize our current knowledge dynamic field research.
