摘要: Objective To assess the utility of an endometrial sampling device, Uterine Explora Curette, with concomitant saline contrast sonohysterography (SCSH) for ultrasound-directed extraction, resection and biopsy pathology. Methods Use Curette was prospectively evaluated in 20 women either infertility (n = 14), recurrent miscarriage 2) or peri-/postmenopausal bleeding 4). Findings on SCSH were compared those pathological analysis. Results In all cases used successfully during to treat filling defects. The procedure well tolerated, average time from start finish 10 (range, 2–23) min. It without complications, appeared remove adequately defects most patients, obviating need hysteroscopy. Conclusions In properly selected directed using appears be effective easy method treating intrauterine pathology provides a cost-effective alternative operative hysteroscopy. Copyright © 2005 ISUOG.
