摘要: Bacterial leaf steak (BLS) caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzicola (Xoc) is a devastating disease in rice production. The resistance to BLS quantitatively inherited trait, of which the molecular mechanism still unclear. It has been proved that xa5, recessive bacterial blast gene, most possible candidate gene QTL qBlsr5a for resistance. To study xa5 function resistance, we created transgenic lines with RNAi Xa5 (LOC_Os05g01710) and used RNA-seq analyze transcriptomes Xa5-RNAi line wild-type at 9 h after inoculation Xoc, mock water as control. results showed could (1) increase expected from xa5; (2) alter (mainly up-regulate) expression hundreds genes, were related resistance; (3) greatly enhance response thousands genes Xoc infection, especially involved cell death pathways, suggesting displays effect probably mainly because enhanced death-related infection.
