摘要: The ethnobotanical data on the herbaceous plants of District Kotli, Azad Kashmir was documented during 2010 to 2011 by interviewing local inhabitants through a questionnaire. A total 93 species belonging 46 families Angiosperms were recorded. It noticed that beside usages herbs as fodder and vegetable, people in area found using for curing human diseases like hypertension, jaundice, gonorrhea, eczema, rheumatism, impotency, etc. cattle such hemorrhagic septicemia, hemoglobinurea, prolepsis, anemia, disclosed 58.06% use whole plant, 36.56% leaves, 6.45% stem & fruit each, 10.75% flower, 18.27% root, 13.97% seed 1.07% inflorescence. observed 52.68% single purpose, 37.63% double 7.52% three 2.15% multipurpose. most common including 11 Family Poaceae, 8 Labiatae, 7 Asteraceae 4 Amaranthaceae.
