摘要: Summary: Spore suspensions of Bacillus megaterium germinated spontaneously after heat treatment. The extent germination depended on the degree close packing suspension, temperature and duration heating, presence water. Spontaneous was not inhibited by heating with cyanide, azide, 2:4-dinitrophenol or sodium iodoacetate, but significantly fluoride. Freshly harvested spores a laboratory strain cereus required either inosine mixture alanine + tyrosine adenosine for optimal germination. After prolonged storage short treatment, alone stimulated rapid complete Heat activation did occur in absence It to some fluoride. Similar results were obtained B. cereus, NCTC 8035. After preheating, virulent an avirulent anthracis more rapidly completely alanine, alone. Inosine heated suspensions, consistently effective than adenosine. Adenosine deaminase activity has been found extracts from resting megaterium.
