摘要: Anodic oxidation is an electrochemical method for the production of oxide films on metallic substrates. It involves application electrical bias at relatively low currents while substrate immersed in acid bath. The resultant can be very dense and stable, showing a variety colours microstructural characteristics. In present work, thick anatase rutile polymorphs TiO2 were formed high-purity Ti foil (50 μm thickness) using sulphuric solutions (1.5 M H2SO4). conditions involved potentials (5 to 350 V) current densities 60 mA.cm-2) 10 min room temperature. characterised digital photography, laser Raman microspectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). thicknesses measured thin film analyser based optical spectroscopy principles. phase formation, colours, thicknesses, microstructures depended strongly applied voltage density. At standard 150 V, single-phase was observed form density but, higher (up mA.cm-2), increasing formation observed.
