Tricarbonyl ReI Complexes from Functionalised Pyridine–Triazole Derivatives: From Mononuclear to Unexpected Dimeric Complexes

摘要: As a variation of the commonly used bipy ligand in Re(CO) 3 chemistry, series structurally related complexes which is replaced by pyridine-triazole ligands (or pyta) bearing pendant acetyl group on triazole ring were prepared efficiently click chemistry approach. Depending nature arm, different Re I obtained. Surprisingly, starting from with unprotected yielded two structural isomers dimeric species. One isomer (compound 5a) was isolated and characterised X-ray crystallography. The rhenium atoms are octahedrally coordinated to three carbonyl groups fac arrangement nitrogen one pyta an oxygen atom other. DFT calculations confirmed that represents thermodynamically favoured form. expected, these exhibited luminescence. To conclude, unexpected formation 5 original strategy toward synthesis new luminescent rhenium(I) (multimeric)
