摘要: Facial color is important information for social communication as it provides clues to recognize a person's emotion and health condition. Our previous EEG study suggested that N170 at the left occipito-temporal site related facial processing (Nakajima et al., [2012]: Neuropsychologia 50:2499–2505). However, because of low spatial resolution experiment, brain region involved in remains controversial. In present study, we examined neural substrates using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). We measured activity from 25 subjects during presentation natural- bluish-colored face their scrambled images. The bilateral fusiform (FFA) area occipital (OFA) were localized by contrast natural-colored faces versus Moreover, interest (ROI) analysis showed FFA was sensitive color, whereas right OFA insensitive color. combination with our results, these data suggest may play an role processing.
