摘要: Background Rates of newly acquired HIV notifications provide useful data for monitoring transmission trends. Methods: We describe 10-year (2001–10) trends in Victoria, Australia. also examine recent testing and incidence risk behaviours among gay other men who have sex with (MSM) attending four high MSM caseload clinics. Results: Between 2001 2010 there was a significant increasing linear trend that driven primarily by increases between 2009–2010. accounted 85% notifications. 2007–10, the total number tests per year at clinics increased 41% declined 52%; reported remained relatively stable these MSM. Conclusion: More may reflect MSM; continued scrutiny surveillance will assess sustained effectiveness as prevention, health promotion contribution to outcomes.
