Aortoiliac aneurysms: Management with endovascular stent-graft placement

摘要: PURPOSE: To evaluate endovascular stent-graft placement for management of aortoiliac aneurysms. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Balloon-expandable stents covered with polytetrafluoroethylene were placed in 11 lesions nine male non-surgical candidates (mean age, 63.5 years). There six abdominal aortic aneurysms, four iliac artery and one acute pseudoaneurysm from a ruptured artery. Stent-grafts dilated up to 14 mm (iliac) 24 (aorta). Patients underwent follow-up computed tomography angiography. RESULTS: successfully all cases. two complications: treated an additional stent lower-extremity vessel embolization bowel infarction resulting death.
