摘要: Abstract In this paper, we propose an effective and accurate method for optimizing space steel frames with semi-rigid joints using practical advanced analysis (PAA) micro-genetic algorithm (μGA). The PAA the beam-column approach is applied capturing second-order effects inelastic behavior of systems, while zero-length element model employed estimating nonlinear joints. μGA utilized finding global optimal solution, OpenMP to perform parallel computing in order efficiently reduce computational time. study, unlike many previous researches, not only cross-sectional areas beam column members but also connection types are variables optimization. results some frame examples prove that proposed computationally efficient reliable.
