摘要: Abstract Objectives: The study objectives were to evaluate adequacy of prenatal care and risk for preterm birth among Medicaid clients in Virginia determine if payment method is associated with the birth. Methods: Birth certificate data Commonwealth 2007 2008 linked claims data. Analysis was limited singleton births. Three methods evaluated: private insurance, self-pay, Medicaid. prevalence each level defined by Kotelchuck index assessed method. Unconditional logistic regression modeling used assess association between while controlling known factors.
