摘要: Abstract Cadmium sulfide (CdS) nanocrystalline thin films were prepared using the microwave-assisted chemical bath deposition method onto glass substrates at 80 °C. Aqueous solutions of either cadmium chloride or acetate and thiourea used as sources Cd2+ S2− ions, respectively. Two sets samples with different concentrations prepared. A microwave oven was a heating source to synthesize CdS films. The had good adhesion no pinholes. These examined for their structural surface morphologies by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy. optical properties investigated UV–vis spectrophotometer, photoluminescence, Raman spectroscopy. Particle size values obtained from XRD compared these calculated effective mass models. band gaps according transmission measurements decreased ion molar concentration increased.
