摘要: Efficient removal of heavy metals from water and wastewater is a necessity for human environmental well-being. Agricultural, domestic, industrial waste discharges increase with the in global population. Discharges are loaded toxic metallic substances that inevitably reach sources. Conventional treatment methods many cases inadequate their efficiencies. Alternatively, recently developed advanced approaches, such as nanotechnologies, offer advantages treatment. Nanotechnology brought about materials high specific surface areas adsorption capacities undesirable present water. A detailed review use nanotechnologies nanomaterials aqueous solutions presented this study. Limitations, research gaps, suitability nanotechnology at large scale discussed, relevant conclusions accordingly deduced.
