摘要: We estimated the pre-settlement density and area of different classes palustrine wetlands on Des Moines Lobe based soil characteristics. Six wetland classes, ranging from temporarily flooded to permanently flooded, were identified properties that persisted after artificial drainage. Prior drainage, covered nearly half there differences in both types relative abundance among four geologic subdivisions (Bemis, Altamont, Algona till plains Altamont Lake). In flat Lake zone, most common equally split between saturated water regimes. Among three plain zones, dominant type. Differences distributions zones probably derive initial topography post-glacial processes such as erosion-deposition stream-network formation.
