摘要: Abstract The adsorption of low molecular weight poly-(acrylic acid) (PAA) from aqueous solutions on TiO2 (anatase) has been studied and at pH 10 as a function the electrolyte type concentration. At an exothermic heat is found but high in CaCl2 NaCl consumed during adsorption. This endothermic effect related to specific interactions between cations surface. If Ca-salt used also originates Ca2+ PAA interactions. most likely driving force for entropy gain by release hydration water specifically interacting ions.
