摘要: Chordomas and chondrosarcomas are two major malignant bone neoplasms located at the skull base. These tumors rarely metastatic, but can be locally invasive resistant to conventional chemotherapies radiotherapies. Accordingly, therapeutic approaches for treatment of these difficult. Additionally, their location base makes them problematic. Although accurate diagnosis is important because distinct prognoses, distinguishing between tumor types difficult due overlapping radiological histopathological findings. However, recent accumulation molecular genetic studies, including extracranial analysis, has provided us clues diagnosis. In this report, we review aberrations biology types.
