Twenty-five year history of the journal Psicothema.

摘要: Background: There is a growing interest in evaluating the contents of scientific Psychology journals and therefore, to mark twenty-fifth anniversary Psicothema, we aim provide an insight into its historical evolution. The objective this study was carry out bibliometric analysis articles published from 1989 2012, order information regarding different parameters related production quality. Method: data analysed were evolution throughout period, languages publication, index authorship, countries according author affiliation, subject matter, ten most cited articles, Top Ten which Psicothema cited, Impact Factor, amongst others. Results: A total 2,163 analysed, majority (96.16%) are original Spanish (80.07%) with predominantly two authors (28.34%). journal has work by 32 their affiliation. Conclusions: results support multidisciplinary character positive constant towards advance Psychology.
