Molybdenum alloy target for mammographic usage in x-ray tubes

摘要: Low temperature ductility and high strength of a molybdenum target for X-ray tubes employed in mammographic applications is achieved by alloying with tungsten. The alloy provides the necessary characteristic radiation while maintaining exceptional resistance to surface fracture output degradation under required exposure condition mammography.
