摘要: Abstract Introduction We hypothesized that the implementation of a novel mental skills curriculum (MSC) during laparoscopic simulator training would improve and performance, decrease stress. Methods Sixty volunteer novices were randomized into intervention control groups. All participants received FLS while group also participated in MSC. Skill transfer retention assessed on live porcine model after 2 months later, respectively. Performance was using Test Strategies-2 (TOPS-2) for skills, metrics State Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI-6) heart rate (HR) Results Fifty-five (92%) completed test, 46 (77%) test. There no significant differences between groups at baseline. Compared to controls significantly improved their skill use, demonstrated higher improvement retention, reported less stress Conclusions The MSC implemented this study effectively enhanced participants' reduced cognitive operating room with small impact performance.
