摘要: An apparatus and method for encoding data in a text format such as ASCII or EBCDIC on laser disc compact without affecting the digitized sound by utilizing what is known subcode channel of disc. By storing region described herein, it possible to create subtitles movies number languages that language which appear user selectable. In this manner, discs having subtitle information in, example, ten thereby avoiding necessity creating separate discs, each different used subtitling.
