Shear stress relaxation and physical aging study on simple glass-forming materials

摘要: Relaxation and aging behaviors in three supercooled liquids: m-toluidine, glycerol, sucrose benzoate have been studied by shear stress relaxation experiments the time domain above below their nominal glass transition temperatures. For equilibrium state, current study provides new data on behavior of organic complex fluids. The shape function as characterized stretching exponent β is discussed considering that a time-temperature master curve can be constructed even though β’s for individual response curves at each temperature vary systematically. In nonequilibrium isothermal physical different glassy structures reveal effect process mechanical these simple formers similar to observed polymeric other systems.
