摘要: Diverticulosis of the colon is most common condition in Western societies and it anatomic alteration human colon. Recurrent abdominal pain experienced by about 20% patients with diverticulosis, but pathophysiologic mechanisms its occurrence are not completely understood. In last years, several fine papers have showed clearly role low-grade inflammation both symptoms people having symptom persistence following acute diverticulitis, even if evidence available so strong. We do know yet what trigger this is. However, some preliminary found colonic dysbiosis linked to therefore those patients. The aim paper summarize current evidences symptomatic uncomplicated diverticular disease after an episode diverticulitis.
