摘要: Developing new glass compositions suitable for broad band amplification in the 1200- 1700 nm wavelength region is important future optical communication systems. In this paper we review results of our research on Bi ion doped glasses as well rare earth ions Tm and Er-doped glasses. Of particular importance application short fibre devices integrated waveguide fabrication using femtosecond laser writing. The host reported are silicates tellurites.
