摘要: Abstract The thermal shock behavior of ZrB 2 –SiC composite ceramics was remarkably enhanced by the addition TaSi particles. residual strength within temperature range resulting from crack-healing effect, especially at ~ 1400 °C. Residual fracture toughness increased with increasing content 1000 °C to 1600 °C. soft phase positively affected toughening mechanism. Considering consumption ~ 1400 °C, -containing based ceramic decreased temperature. formation a compressive stress zone beneath surface oxide layer cohesive structure -based material inhibited crack and retained higher mechanical properties. Apparent changes were observed as result oxidation after severe test. From viewpoint thermodynamics, resistance improved .
