Commissioning Varian 2100C Medical Linear Accelerator

摘要: One Varian 2100C medical linear accelerator (LINAC) was installed at Kaohsiung Medical College Hospital last summer. The outputs of this LINAC are 6 and 10 MV X-ray beams, 6, 9, 12, 16, 20 MeV electron beams. A commissioning procedure including acceptance tests, dose data, environmental radiation survey executed when the installation completed. tests organized as a sequential were performed by physicist Varian's engineers. Dose determination measured with ion chamber, phantom meters. Radiation calculated following protocal Task Group 21, Therapy Committee American Association Physicists in Medicine (AAPM). After procedure, license application to operate submitted Atomic Energy Council (AEC) Executive Yuan. When authorized AEC November, quality assurance (QA) program established continuously order keep high therapy.
