摘要: With advancements in technology and a better understanding of human cardiovascular physiology, research as well clinical care can go beyond dimensional anatomy offered by traditional imaging investigate aortic functional properties the impact disease has on this function. Linking knowledge histopathological changes with alterations function observed noninvasive results pathophysiology. Translating to medicine, these assessments are proving be able diagnose disease, predict risk, assess response therapies. This review is designed summarize various hemodynamic measures that characterize aorta, techniques, applications for states.
