摘要: The aim of the following study is to evaluate risk obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) in subjects with vitamin D deficiency.Prospective and comparative study. We enrolled 240 into study. participants were divided 2 groups based on 25-hydroxyvitamin (25[OH]D) levels: low level 25(OH)D ( 20 ng/mL) group (n = 120). Subjects classified as being at a high or developing OSAS by using Berlin Questionnaire. Risk OSAS, gender, age, body mass index (BMI) z-score assessed comparing control group. No statistically significant difference was observed between terms BMI distributions; P 0.323, 0.387, 0.093, respectively. There 24 (17 25[OH]D 7 group). In group, found be significantly higher than (P 0.030). high-risk low-risk 0.034 for low-level 0.023 group). The findings revealed that increases OSAS.
