A convenient approximation of life expectancy (the “DEALE”): I. validation of the method

摘要: The physician developing a treatment plan for particular patient often needs to know the life expectancy associated with outcomes of therapeutic choices. Currently available methods estimating are cumbersome and limited clinical use. We describe simple approximation (the "DEALE") that is based on assumption survival follows declining exponential function.
