摘要: Energetic particle fluxes in the outer zone radiation belts can vary over orders of magnitude on a variety timescales. Power at ULF frequencies, order few millihertz, have been associated with changes flux levels among relativistic electrons comprising belts. this part spectrum may occur as result number processes, including internally-generated waves induced by plasma instabilities, and externally generated processes such shear instabilities flanks or compressive variations solar wind. Changes large-scale convective motion magnetosphere are another important class driven power wavelengths. The mechanism for interaction between (or require) pitch angle scattering, conserve first two adiabatic invariants motion. Of latter interactions, radial diffusion describes when lead to stochastic populations, has studied extensively description transport within Rates depend strongly characteristics driving waves. This work is intended non-exhaustive review belt interactions waves, outlining current theories methods studying interaction, describing pertinent wave properties.
