摘要: The separation of ethane from ethane/ethylene mixture is imperative and extremely challenging process in petrochemical industry due to their similar physicochemical properties. Herein, a dynamic spacer installation (DSI) strategy has been implemented construct series multi-functional MOFs, LIFM-61/31/62/63, with optimized pore space environment for separation. In this respect, linear dicarboxylic acids were deliberately installed the prototype MOF, LIFM-28, leading dramatically increased volume (from 0.41 0.82 cm 3 g -1 ) reduced size 11.1 × A 2 5.6 ×5.6 ). endows MOFs much higher adsorption capacity, especially LIFM-63 (4.8 mmol ), representing nearly three times as prototypical counterpart (1.7 at 273 K 1 bar. Meanwhile, imparts enhanced selectivity MOFs. Theoretical calculations breakthrough experiments confirm that DSI promising approach rational design task.
