Cryostat for the Measurement of Thermal Conductivity and Specific Heat between 0.05 and 2°K

摘要: A cryostat is described which capable of measuring specific heat and thermal conductivity dielectric crystals over the temperature range 0.05 2.0°K. Thermal measured with a steady flow through sample, by pulse technique. Differential carbon resistance thermometry used for both measurements. The performance demonstrated on LiF, two samples nominally pure KCl.
