摘要: Although the study of prejudice, stereotyping, and discrimination has been a traditional focus social psychology, researchers in this area have devoted only limited attention to attitudes behaviors toward people with physical disabilities. Moreover, much psychological research on bias guided directly by Allport (1954) classic volume, The Nature Prejudice, specifically his definition prejudice as “an antipathy… directed group whole, or an individual because he [sic] is member that group” (p. 9). Discrimination, according represented negative behavior, ranging from “antilocution” violence. In chapter, we argue narrow antipathy disabilities obscures complexity contemporary these individuals.
