摘要: The yielding behavior of conventional magnetorheological (MR) fluids is revisited for a wide range magnetic fields and particle concentrations under colloidal gel perspective. A two-step found at intermediate (∼10 kA/m) that can be explained as transition from strong-link to weak-link (or transition) regime upon increasing the concentration in MR fluid. This reminiscent classical concepts static (frictional) dynamic (Bingham) yield stress. By relating macroscopic elastic properties scaling fractal model, we could identify prevalent gelation fluids.
