摘要: It is still a challenge to develop high-performance photocatalyst for the abatement of aromatic compounds like benzene (C6H6), which has been regarded as priority hazardous volatile organic compound substance in indoor atmosphere. Zinc hydroxystannate (ZnSn(OH)6, ZHS) promising material this application. However, key structural features that are responsible high activity ambiguous. To address issue, series ZHS with different surface properties were hydrothermally synthesized by varying treatment temperature and solution pH. Although can be readily under mild reaction condition (temp 90–120 °C, pH 4–10), most samples contaminated trace amount low-crystallized SnO2. Pristine only produced strong alkaline (pH 13).
