摘要: Electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) and tobacco heating products (THPs) have reduced yields of toxicants recently emerged as a potentially safer alternative to combustible cigarettes. To understand if toxicant exposure is associated with reductions in biological responses, there need for high-quality pre-clinical vitro studies. Here, we investigated the cytotoxic response human umbilical vein endothelial cells conventional cigarette aqueous aerosol extracts (AqE) highly concentrated AqEs from e-cigarettes (two generations atomisers) THPs variants). All AqE samples were generated by standardized methodology characterized nicotine, propylene glycol vegetable glycerol. The caused maximum 100 ± 0.00 % reduction cell viability at 35 dose (2.80 puffs) opposed 96.63 2.73 50 (20 99.85 0.23 75 (30 two THP variants (glo Bright Tobacco, glo Rich Tobacco), 99.07 1.61 neat ePen2.0 e-cigarette (200 puffs). remaining either resulted an incomplete dose-response or did not elicit any response. methods utilized suitably sensitive only differentiate between cigarette, aerosols but also distinguish within each product category.
