摘要: Macroscopic, microscopic and chemical examinations of 287 bottom samples collected in Lake Lauzon, Montcalm County, P.Q. by means core sampler, combination sounding weight Ekman dredge showed that most the lake is covered with dark brown to blackish sludge whose thickness varies from 3.5 more than 350 mm. It semiliquid nature but becomes colloidal well defined areas. The suspensions contain hydrogen sulphide. water content varied between 31 95%. highest loss on ignition observed was 75.0%, deeper parts lake. ratio 15.0 64.7. estimated lignin accounts for half organic matter surface deposits. Nitrogen 0.00 1.68%. Samples high contained also higher amounts nitrogen. 3.09. There no correlation location sample this ratio. Silica closely related depth posi...
