Synthesis of Ag/AgCl modified anhydrous basic bismuth nitrate from BiOCl and the antibacterial activity.

摘要: Abstract Novel nanocomposite of Ag/AgCl and a single phase anhydrous basic bismuth nitrate (ABBN)-Bi6O4.46(OH)3.54(NO3)5.54 with efficient antibacterial activity was prepared from BiOCl. Microstructure characterized as AgCl nanotubes Ag nanoparticles mixed Bi6O4.46(OH)3.54(NO3)5.54 nanosheets in nanometer scale. Antibacterial the composite tested by agar disc diffusion dilution methods using Escherichia coli target bacteria. The diameter inhibition zone Ag/AgCl/ABBN is 17.0 mm while that bulk BBN 8.1 mm. MIC value ascertained 35 μg mL−1. Results prove has much higher comparison nitrate.
