On the Spreading of an Insoluble Surfactant over a Thin Viscous Liquid Layer

摘要: Reported here are results of a theoretical and experimental study the spreading an insoluble surfactant over thin liquid layer. Initial concentrations above below CMC have been considered. If concentration is two distinct stages found. (i) The first stage faster, it connected with micelle dissolution; (ii) second slower, when falls CMC. In stage, formation dry spot in center film observed. A similarity solution corresponding equations for gives good agreement observations.
