摘要: The imitation switch (ISWI) family of chromatin remodelling ATPases is found in organisms ranging from yeast to mammals. ISWI assemble and slide space nucleosomes, making the template fluid allowing appropriate regulation events such as transcription, DNA replication, recombination repair. site action determined, part by tissue type which enzyme expressed nature proteins associated with enzyme. complexes are generally conserved composition function across species. Roles gene expression replication heterochromatin, activation repression euchromatin, functions related maintaining chromosome architecture different complexes. Defects ISWI-associated may be neurodegenerative disease, anencephaly, William’s syndrome melanotic tumours. Finally, mechanism Isw1b influences transcription discussed.
