摘要: Abstract The chemical modification of a cysteinyl residue D57C CheY by the addition phosphonomethyl group, (HO) 2 P(O)‐CH ‐, is described. This produces nonlabile analog an aspartyl phosphate in active form CheY. chemically modified protein, phosphono‐CheY, suitable for structural and functional studies. An extensive discussion synthetic methodology purification strategy presented. A detailed protocol given.
